Founders of approved or successful businesses can qualify for a ten-year Golden Visa.
Routes
- Owning or partnering in a project approved as innovative or economically valuable by an authorised body or incubator
- Having founded and sold a successful project, meeting the value criteria
- Business owners paying significant taxes or employing staff in the UAE, under certain categories
Evidence
Business plan, endorsement letters, financial statements, licence documents and evidence of prior exits, depending on the route.
Common questions
Does owning any UAE company qualify me?
No. Company ownership alone gives an Investor and partner visa. The Golden Visa needs one of the qualifying categories.
