The Green Visa is a five-year residence visa that you sponsor yourself, without depending on an employer.
Categories
- Skilled employees: a valid employment contract, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a salary above the threshold, currently AED 15,000 per month.
- Freelancers and self-employed: a freelance permit, a bachelor's degree or specialised diploma, and evidence of income or financial solvency as set by the authorities.
- Investors and partners: approval of the investment by the relevant authority and supporting evidence.

Green or Golden?
