People aged 55 and over can obtain a renewable five-year residence visa based on their savings, income or property in the UAE.

Eligibility

Applicants aged 55 or older who meet one of the financial criteria set by the emirate, based on:

  • Savings deposited in a UAE bank, or
  • Regular monthly income, or
  • Property owned in the UAE, or a combination as permitted

Process

Application through GDRFA in Dubai, or the relevant authority in other emirates, with bank letters, income evidence or title deeds, followed by a medical test and Emirates ID.
